Job Description

As a WordPress Developer Intern at Circlebook, you will work closely with our skilled team of developers and product managers to design, develop, and enhance our WordPress-based applications.

Your main focus will be on building and customizing themes, plugins, and features to improve the user experience on our platforms.

What you'll do
  • Develop device-responsive websites in WordPress.
  • Write clean, well-designed code and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with digital strategists, SEO specialists & designers.
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into proper UX and UI functionality.
  • Configure & customize WordPress, and WP plugins & integrating with other tools.

Qualification

Skills you need
  • Proficiency in WordPress: Strong understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Ability to write clean, efficient code for front-end development.
  • Responsive Design: Ability to create responsive and mobile-friendly websites.
  • SEO Best Practices: Understanding of SEO principles to optimize websites for search engines.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and fix issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Focus on creating high-quality, user-friendly websites.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and/or Adobe XD.
Education
  • 1+ years of front-end website development and maintenance experience in WordPress.
