Backend Developer – Circlebook

At Circlebook, we’re growing our tech team! We’re looking for a motivated Backend Developer with a passion for building scalable, API-driven applications. No prior work experience is required — just solid technical knowledge and eagerness to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Develop backend systems and APIs using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB/MySQL.

• Work on MERN stack applications with API-first design.

• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to deliver integrated solutions.

• Ensure security, performance, and scalability in applications.

• Contribute to mobile app development and API integration.

• Learn and work with cloud services (AWS or similar).

Skills We Value

• Knowledge of MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of API-driven development (RESTful APIs, integrations).

• Basic knowledge of mobile app development (React Native preferred).

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team.

• Git or other version control experience is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or currently studying).
